CrossFit can seem a bit daunting.
There is so much to learn, and so many movements and skills to master. Here is a simple checklist to make sure that you are getting off on the right foot!
1. Start booking classes. You can do this on the TIMETABLE page of this website, or through your Boxmate app.
2. Download BOXMATE. This is an app that we use to publish our workouts, and where you can track your progress. We know that the members who enjoy the most success at CrossFit are the ones who keep track of a few key numbers and weights.
Using Boxmate is super easy.
- Download the App
- Login using the same email and password that you use for TeamUP
- Select LN CrossFit as your affiliate.
We will then approve you to our roster and you can start booking classes and previewing that weeks' workouts! Boxmate is free for your first month, after that we add a £2 surcharge to your membership.
3. Book your first BODY COMPOSITION SCAN.
4. Book your INTRODUCTION TO OLYMPIC LIFTING instruction session, using either TeamUP or Boxmate. These are held every Sunday and we recommend that new members attend within their first month of joining.
5. Join our members Facebook Group! This is where a lot of the day to day info, banter and social elements are advertised, and is a great way to get to know names of your fellow members.
6. Take a look at our CLASS INFO and FAQs pages for more details about all of the classes we offer for adults and children, as well as a list of answers to questions we get all the time!
7. Have a browse around our RECOVERY and MOBILITY page for information about our in-house sports therapist, our stretching and mobility app, and the Hotpod Yoga studio upstairs.
